Discuss Your Automotive Goals
Supercar & Ultra-Exotic Vehicle Purchasing
A Specialized Focus. A Personal Experience.

Our focus is deliberate: supercars and ultra-exotic vehicles only.

Strategxy works with clients whose automotive interests extend beyond the conventional luxury market. From a precisely specified Ferrari or Lamborghini to an acquisition involving Bugatti or Koenigsegg, each engagement begins with understanding the vehicle you want and what matters most to you.

We help organize the research, communications, and coordination involved in pursuing your next vehicle, providing a clear, considered approach throughout the process.

Our Automotive Consulting Services
Acquisition Strategy & Vehicle Selection

We work with you to define your acquisition goals, preferred marques and models, specifications, budget, and timeline. Whether you are pursuing a particular vehicle or evaluating several possibilities, we help establish a focused search strategy.

Supercar & Ultra-Exotic Vehicle Sourcing

We assist with identifying and comparing available vehicles that align with your criteria. Our search considers configuration, mileage, documented history, condition, location, and seller-provided information.

Market Research & Purchase Evaluation

We review available listings, comparable vehicles, specifications, and supporting information to help put an opportunity into context. Our role is to help you assess the purchase proposition in relation to your goals—not to promise future appreciation or investment returns.

Documentation & Inspection Coordination

We help organize available service records, vehicle-history information, seller disclosures, and relevant supporting documentation. When appropriate, we assist with coordinating an independent pre-purchase inspection by a qualified marque specialist.

Negotiation & Acquisition Support

We assist with seller communications, offer preparation, and the comparison of proposed purchase terms. Our support keeps your priorities at the center of the discussion while helping organize the details leading up to a purchase.

Collection Planning & Vehicle Transitions

We help clients evaluate potential additions, replacements, and sales within a supercar or ultra-exotic collection. Each engagement considers personal interests, intended use, existing vehicles, and longer-term ownership plans.

Transport & Ownership Coordination

We assist with identifying and coordinating third-party transportation, storage, detailing, vehicle protection, and maintenance resources appropriate to the vehicle and your requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of vehicles does Strategxy specialize in?

Strategxy Automotive Consulting Services focuses exclusively on supercars and ultra-exotic vehicles, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Koenigsegg. We do not provide general vehicle-shopping services for mainstream or conventional luxury automobiles.

Do I need to know exactly which vehicle I want?

No. We can begin with your preferred driving experience, design preferences, budget, and collection goals, then help develop a focused shortlist within our supercar and ultra-exotic specialty.

Can you help with a specific vehicle I have already found?

Yes. An engagement can focus on an identified vehicle, including reviewing available information, comparing asking prices, organizing seller communications, and coordinating an independent inspection.

Do you work with first-time buyers and established collectors?

Yes. Our approach is tailored to the client, whether the engagement involves a first supercar purchase or a specific addition to an established collection.

Can you guarantee availability or future value?

No. Vehicle availability, seller decisions, condition, and market circumstances can affect an acquisition. Strategxy provides consulting and coordination, not guarantees of availability, purchase price, appreciation, or resale value.

Import Regulations & International Acquisitions
Can a supercar or ultra-exotic vehicle purchased overseas be imported into the United States?

Potentially, but eligibility must be confirmed for the specific vehicle before purchasing or arranging shipment. A Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, or Koenigsegg offered overseas is not automatically eligible for U.S. importation. Federal safety requirements, emissions requirements, and customs procedures must each be addressed.

Can a vehicle that was not originally built for the U.S. market be imported?

In some cases. Vehicles less than 25 years old generally must comply with applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards or qualify for an authorized import pathway. Certain nonconforming vehicles may be imported through a Registered Importer if NHTSA has determined them eligible and the required compliance work can be completed. EPA emissions requirements apply separately.

What is the 25-year import rule?

A vehicle that is at least 25 years old, measured from its actual date of manufacture, is exempt from federal motor vehicle safety standards for import purposes. This exemption does not, by itself, resolve EPA emissions requirements or customs obligations.

Are emissions requirements different from the 25-year rule?

Yes. EPA administers a separate emissions framework. An age-based provision may apply to vehicles at least 21 years old, subject to engine and configuration requirements. Engine replacements or modifications can affect eligibility, so the specific vehicle’s configuration should be verified before relying on this provision.

What is “Show or Display,” and does it apply to every rare supercar?

Show or Display is a limited import pathway for vehicles that NHTSA determines have unusual historical or technological significance. Rarity, price, or brand alone does not establish eligibility. Prior NHTSA approval is required, and vehicles imported under this pathway are subject to a driving limit of no more than 2,500 miles in a 12-month period. EPA requirements must also be addressed separately. It is not a general exemption for any rare or ultra-exotic vehicle.

What documents are typically needed?

Depending on the import pathway and circumstances, documentation may include a bill of sale and foreign registration or ownership documents; the shipper’s or carrier’s bill of lading; DOT Form HS-7; EPA Form 3520-1; and supporting eligibility documentation, approvals, or compliance arrangements required for the particular vehicle.

Should import eligibility be checked before committing to a purchase?

Yes. Confirm the applicable import pathway, required approvals, and emissions arrangements before committing to an overseas acquisition or booking transportation. Some pathways require advance written approval; discovering an eligibility problem after shipment can jeopardize the transaction and entry process.

How can Strategxy assist with an international acquisition?

Strategxy can help organize vehicle information, seller communications, and coordination with qualified third-party import specialists, customs brokers, transportation providers, and inspection professionals within the agreed scope of an engagement. Strategxy does not determine regulatory eligibility or guarantee import approval. Vehicle-specific requirements and approvals must be confirmed with the relevant authorities and qualified professionals.

Import Advisory

This information provides a general overview of U.S. federal import requirements, not a vehicle-specific eligibility determination or legal advice. Requirements vary by vehicle and import pathway. Confirm the applicable rules and obtain any required approvals before purchase or shipment.
